Rocking ChairBernard’s work speaks for itself. He brings a balance of beauty, functional design and fine craftsmanship into his pieces. For my wife’s 60th birthday I wanted to surprise her with one of his custom-made rocking chairs.  It was a surprise but even more surprising was the discovery that a beautiful chair could also be an incredibly comfortable chair. The chair has withstood the test of time. It continues to please and will become a family heirloom for the future.

We contracted Bernard to build cabinets during a kitchen renovation. Mass produced cabinets from a box store were not going to be the answer for either the space or the design style we were looking for. Bernard met with us and offered several design options within our budget. The final product resulted in unique and well -crafted cabinets that transformed our kitchen. His work came in on time and budget with quality beyond what we had expected. Several years later the kitchen cabinets had “aged well“ and were the primary selling feature for our home.

Murphy BedA friend recommended I ask Bernie to design and build a wall bed that would also hold books. I wanted to make a sleeping space in my dining room, not an easy task given the small condo I live in. What did he do? He made not a good bed but a great wall bed. The attention to detail in his cabinet-making is exceptional. The grain of the maple is perfectly matched. The bed is now the highlight of the room and looks like it has always been there. I definitely would recommend his work.

Rose UrnBernard’s work brought joy to our family at a very sad time. Our mother, an avid gardener, had recently passed away. We were looking for an urn that would be unique to her. After looking through his portfolio we knew we had found the right person for the task. He created a piece of art using reclaimed walnut wood in combination with a single white ceramic rose. Although her ashes may be spread in her beloved garden the urn will remain.
